Late 19th century
Logging is at its height. The municipality, named after Jacob Sloat Fassett (1853-1924), grows to more than 1,500 residents.
1917-1919
The Saint-Fidèle church is built and becomes the heart of village life.
December 31, 2016
After demographic and economic changes, the church closes for good, following a final Christmas mass on December 24, 2016.
